Storytelling exists in many forms. Whether it’s an album, a film, or some other form of artistic expression, my passion is exploring and highlighting the deeper value inherent in creativity! Music — especially, holds such a large presence in our culture. It’s easy to take for granted. However, each song, each performance, is a statement. My job is not to judge the creativity of others but to hold each creative statement in conversation, assessing its role, its impact, in the world. As a musician myself, I understand the tension between creator and critic, but I also see the value in applying critical thought to the various forms of media with which we engage.

Our world is full of incredible, natural beauty and vibrant culture. Traveling allows us to access the fullness that life has to offer. I love to tell stories of people who not only explore new and exciting places, but who do so with a mindfulness of our impact on the natural world and the various cultures living together in our world. Travel can truly make the world a better place — but only if those who travel do so with the heart, a mindset, and an outlook of care and concern for our planet and the people living within it.

Relationships are the beating heart of True Shepherd. Even the leadership consists of two equal parts – one based in the US and the other rooted in Haiti. Though the organization is often separated by space, we always remain united in our purpose to establish sustainable projects that help build up the people of Haiti not just physically or financially, but spiritually as well. By sending teams from the US into Haiti, those two halves can come together – for encouragement, for accountability, and for furthering the work of God’s kingdom together.
